Who will win the lion's share of the bumper Tour Championship prize money fund?

Here’s how the 2025 Tour Championship prize money will be awarded at East Lake Golf Club for the FedEx Cup finale.

With the PGA Tour deciding to spread out the FedEx Cup’s $100 million prize pool this season, the last 30 players vying for the year-end title will have to settle for sharing a measly $40 million between them come Sunday evening in Georgia.

With no starting strokes, as per years gone by, the Tour Championship becomes a regualar 72-hole shoot out, albeit with no cut for the slow starters to worry themselves with.

The winner is set to take home a $10 million cut, with $5 million to the runner-up and $3.7 million to third place. There will be seven-figure paydays down to eighth place, with the player propping up the leaderboard in 30th, still receiving a cheque worth $355,000.

Scottie Scheffler won the 2024 Tour Championship and FedEx Cup.

Aside from the mammoth bonuses awaiting them, all 30 of the Tour Championship field will receive two two-year PGA Tour exemption, entry into the eight lucrative Signature events of 2026, and are guaranteed entry into next year’s Masters, US Open, and Open Championship.
