Who is Jon Rahm’s caddie?

Adam Hayes has been Jon Rahm’s caddie since September 2016, forming a partnership that has coincided with Rahm’s rise to the top of professional golf.

Hayes was born in Rockledge, Florida, where he first developed his interest in the game through his grandparents. He went on to play collegiate golf, first at Brevard Community College between 1995 and 1997, before transferring to the University of Central Florida from 1997 to 1999.

Although he did not pursue a professional playing career, his experience with competitive golf provided a solid foundation for his career as a caddie.

Hayes began caddying professionally on the LPGA Tour in 1999, where he worked until 2003. In 2004, he transitioned to the PGA Tour when he took on the bag of Vaughn Taylor, where they achieved victory together at the Reno-Tahoe Open.

Over the following years, Hayes gained further experience with a range of accomplished players, including Webb Simpson, Jason Dufner, Ben Crane, Russell Henley, and Jonathan Byrd.

His collaboration with Rahm has proven particularly successful. Since Hayes joined him in 2016, Rahm has gone on to secure multiple wins on both the PGA Tour and LIV Golf tour, along with two major championships: the 2021 U.S. Open and the 2023 Masters Tournament.
