Reunited! Lee Westwood re-hires legendary caddie for LIV Golf conclusion
Last updated:

Lee Westwood has turned to an old friend as he looks to finish the LIV season with a flourish.
Lee Westwood and Billy Foster have reunited.
The English pair worked together from 2009 to 2018 in a spell that saw Westwood become the world’s No.1 golfer. Foster was also by his side for three of his 11 Ryder Cup appearances.
When Matt Fitzpatrick decided he needed a fresh face on his bag earlier this year, Foster decided to go part-time. So far he has caddied for Collin Morikawa at the Genesis Scottish Open and The Open – a fortnight that yielded two missed cuts for the American – and now he will have a three-week stint alongside Westwood for LIV Golf’s final regular season events in Chicago and Indianapolis as well as the Team Championship.
It will be the first time Foster, who confirmed the news to TG via text, has caddied on LIV Golf.
The 61-year-old later posted on his Instagram: “Great to be back with the old dawg for a couple of weeks.”
He added: “LIVing the dream!”

Westwood needs to find some form over the next two weeks. The Majesticks co-captain heads to Bollingbrook just three places above the Drop Zone and is in danger of being relegated after the league recently changed the rules that would have previously protected him.
