Everything you need to know about LIV Golf Andalucia.

A record 19 LIV Golf stars finalize their Open preparations at LIV Golf Andalucia, where the breakaway tour makes its first appearance of the season in Europe.

The Open Championship is set to feature the biggest LIV cohort of the 2025 major season. The 19 Portrush-bound stars have earned their way into the 142-man field via several pathways, including performance on the breakaway tour itself, recent major wins, world rankings, and Open Final Qualifying.

But instead of joining Scheffler, McIlroy, and Schauffele to fine-tune their links games at this week’s Genesis Scottish Open in North Berwick, the likes of Rahm, Dechambaeu, and Garcia will head down to Spain’s deep south for some warm-weather reps.

Twelve months ago, home hero Garcia claimed his maiden LIV victory after the disappointment of missing out on a spot at Royal Troon. He will tee it up this year in better spirits, however, after scraping an invite to golf’s oldest major thanks to his early-season form.

Garcia currently sits 5th in the individual standings, just behind Dallas winner Patrick Reed, with the trio of Joaquin Niemann, Bryson Dechambeau, and Jon Rahm seemingly in a three-way title race of their own.
