LIV Golf earnings REVEALED! How much money has every player earned in the league’s history?

By , News editor and writer. Probably entertainer third.
Bryson DeChambeau is near the top of the LIV Golf earnings table since joining from the PGA Tour.

Money has been one of the biggest draws for players to join LIV Golf – but how much has each player earned and who has made the most? We’ve done the math so you don’t have to…

Jump to LIV Golf earnings…

2022 SEASON | 2023 SEASON | 2024 SEASON | 2025 SEASON | TOTAL EARNINGS

Since its inauguration in 2022, 95 players have played in at least one LIV Golf event. And, since the vast riches offered by Saudi Arabia’s bottomless Public Investment Fund was a significant reason for many deciding to join the league, it got us thinking about just how much each player has made since they jumped ship.

Over the next few hundred words, we will break down the LIV Golf earnings from each season played so far, as well as an overall table including every player across the four seasons to date.

Before we get into the numbers, here’s a quick reminder of what’s on offer…

What’s the purse at each LIV Golf event?

The first year of LIV Golf saw eight tournaments played across the globe, and that has become 14 for each season since.

Each of the 13 regular season events has a $25 million purse, with $20 million for the individual competition and $5 million for the team competition. (Until the 2025 season, it was the largest purse in golf, but has since been matched by the PGA Tour Signature events, and overtaken by the Masters, US Open, Players Championship, and Tour Championship.)

The is split among the 54 players, from $4 million for coming first and $50,000 to those bringing up the rear. Only the PGA Tour’s flagship event, the Players Championship, and has a bigger prize pot.

Here’s the breakdown:

Then, the season-ending Team Championship carries a $50 million purse for the 13 teams.

The amount won by each team has changed over the years – and you can see the full breakdowns below – but as of the 2025 season the prize fund is split 60/40, with 60% of the team’s winnings going directly to a team operating fund, while the remaining 40% is distributed in 10% shares to each of the four players.

What about LIV Golf bonuses?

As if those huge purses weren’t enough, the top three players in the individual standings each season will receive a huge bonus payday.

Right, let’s get into it, shall we?

Before we do, any number from here out is money earned purely on LIV Golf, whether it be from individual or team standings, the Team Championship, or end-of-season bonuses. Anything earned at other events, such as on other tours or at the majors, is not included.

A total of 68 players played in the inaugural season – then called the LIV Golf Invitational Series – which began at Centurion Club, near London, and ended with the Team Championship in Miami.

And it was a good start to life on LIV for this Dustin Johnson, who topped the individual standings as well as captaining 4Aces GC to team glory.

LIV Golf earnings: 2025 season

Expansion and injuries meant a record 61 players played at least some part in the 2025 LIV Golf season.

The race for the individual title and that $18 million bonus came down to the very last round, and it was Jon Rahm – who didn’t win all season but only finished outside the top 10 once – who pipped five-time champion Joaquin Niemann.

Rahm and his Legion XIII teammates also successfully defended their team title, beating Crushers in a playoff.

Jon Rahm was the 2025 LIV Golf champion

95Minkyu Kim$128,666$128,666

A couple of things I’ve noted here:

  • Jon Rahm is top by more than $3 million despite only playing in only two seasons so far, while Legion XIII teammate Tyrrell Hatton sneaks into the top 15 for the same criteria.
  • Anirban Lahiri – at 11th – is the highest-earning player yet to win a LIV Golf title.
  • 47th-placed Tom McKibbin – another Legion XIII representative – is the highest-earning player who has only played one season.
  • It’s safe to say the Anthony Kim experiment didn’t work, and the American made just $2 million in his time at LIV Golf – the lowest amount of anyone who played in at least two seasons.

And, finally…

  • Since 2022, LIV Golf has dished more than ONE BILLION DOLLARS – $1,390,724,284 to be precise – in prize money to players.

But is it more lucrative to be a LIV Golf player or a PGA Tour player in 2025? Don’t worry, we’ve worked that out too!
