She has been by the former World No.1’s side for many years, but who is Luke Donald’s wife? Meet Diane Antonopoulos.
Luke Donald has enjoyed a stellar career. The Englishman has achieved things in the game most could only dream of.
He represented his country as an amateur on several occasions before joining the professional ranks, where he went from strength to strength.
He has five PGA Tour victories on his roll of honor and has won seven times on what is now the DP World Tour.
Most notably, though, Donald ascended to the top of the world rankings in May 2011. Over several spells, he spent a total of 56 weeks as the World No. 1, a feat that should not be overlooked in such a competitive era of the sport.
That year in particular was one of Donald’s best. He won the WGC Accenture Match Play, the BMW PGA Championship and the Scottish Open before the summer was out and claimed another PGA Tour title in the fall.
As a result of his success, Donald topped the PGA Tour money list and won the season-long race on the DP World Tour, becoming the first player in history to do this rare double.
He was also won the Vardon Trophy for having the lowest scoring average for the year on the PGA Tour and was, unsurprisingly, voted the PGA Tour Player of the Year.
As well as his individual accolades, Donald also made four appearances for Team Europe at the Ryder Cup. A match play master, Donald won 10.5 points from the 15 matches he played and was never on a losing side.
And he carried that prowess into his captaincy. He was picked to replace Henrik Stenson for the 2023 contest in Rome and masterminded a sublime 16.5-11.5 victory, hardly putting a foot wrong throughout the whole week.
He excelled so much, in fact, that he was picked to lead Europe again in 2025 at Bethpage Black.

Donald’s wife, Diane Antonopoulos, was born in Greece in 1982 but was brought up in Chicago. And the pair met while they both studied at the Northwestern University in Illinois.
Diane studied psychology, while Donald, alongside his golf, was on an art programme.
While at the university, Donald won the 1999 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship, eclipsing the scoring record set by Tiger Woods three years prior in the process.
Shortly after, Donald and Antonopoulos began dating, and they got engaged in 2006.
One year later, the pair got married on the Greek island of Santorini and remain together almost 20 years on.
They welcomed the first of their three daughters, Elle, in 2010, before Sophia arrived in 2011 and Georgina in 2014.
