Women’s Scottish Open 2024: Tee times and groups for round three as Minjee Lee and Megan Khan lead
Published: Last updated:
After the Women’s Scottish Open had two weather delays and suspended play in round one, round two saw stunning performances from Charley Hull and Georgia Hall. Here’s the tee times for round three at Dundonald Links.
Dundonald is the host for the 2024 Women’s Scottish Open, and it provided a typically Scottish welcome for the first day of the tournament, with driving rain and weather conditions delaying play twice. The final groups from Thursday’s rounds had to complete the back nine on a much brighter Friday morning.
Australia’s Minjee Lee led the field into round two, and she carded a 3-under second round to finish on 8-under for the tournament so far. Olympic gold medallist Lydia Ko started strong picking up two shots in six holes, ending up 6-under and in tied third position going into moving day.
England’s Charley Hull had a very strong round, with an eagle on 18 contributing to her 4-under par round (the lowest of the day) and she heads into moving day in tied third place. Fellow Englishwoman Georgia Hall also got off to a good start with an eagle on 18, taking her to 4-under par and into tied eighth position. Maybe she was right when she said Brits play better in bad weather.
Big names that failed to make the cut into the weekend rounds include the USA’s Ally Ewing, Sweden’s Lin Grant, and Scotland’s Gemma Dryburgh.
