Laser Rangefinders

Bushnell Pro Xe – £449
Just when you thought laser tech had reached its peak, Bushnell come along and add a barometer! The “Slope with Elements” feature takes into account the temperature and altitude as well as slope to give ultra-precise distances (you can turn it off for comps). Other features include Jolt, a quick vibration when you lock onto your target, and Bite – a magnetic mount for a trolley.
Golf Buddy Aim l10V – £299.99
A unique audio option in the L10V gives spoken confirmation of distances, providing extra confidence and ease of use to a player. This combines with three targeting modes – standard, scan and pin – and 6x magnification to ensure precision and clarity of results through the excellent visibility of the wider LCD screen.
Garmin Z80 – £549.99
As well as a yardage, the Z80 gives you a map of the hole through its view finder. The graphic you see is similar to a GPS watch readout – an overhead view, where you see your position on the hole and any hazards between you and the green. It helps you plan out your shot by giving you the shape of the hole and the locations of hazards – a huge bonus over a normal laser if there are hidden hazards on a hole.
