Skechers Go Golf Elite V.3 – £99
WHY IT’S WON: This full leather, lace-up shoe is the next generation of Skechers’ most successful spikeless golf shoe – and it’s fantastic value. It has a new full-leather upper and available in four new colours.
Features include a low-drop design to keep your foot low to the ground; a Resamax cushioned insole to improve comfort and support; and full leather upper is paired with a DRI-LEX moisture management interior and H2GO Shield to provide 100% waterproof protection.
Ecco Biom Hybrid 3 – £190
WHY IT’S WON: This is the latest evolution of Ecco’s multi-award-winning Biom Hybrid franchise, with a new Tri- Fi-Grip outsole that has three segments engineered for “multi-purpose zonal performance” – one for stability, another for durability and a third for rotational support. These zones are a product of intensive research and data analysis in the ECCO Golf Lab.
Each is formed from ultra-durable T.PU, meaning the shoes can be worn on and off course without affecting performance. The lovely-to- touch Yak leather upper offers breathability and durability while the 100 per cent Gore-Tex waterproof protection is guaranteed for three years.
Puma Ignite PWRsport – £109
WHY IT’S WON: Last year’s model was a firm favourite of PGA Tour winner Bryson DeChambeau – but we think this one is even better. A new PWRCage saddle improves support and stability in this micro bre (upper) shoe. Puma’s Ignite energy-returning soles give a responsive feel and offer extreme comfort.
