Tom Watson and Gary Player, who have combined for 17 major championships, lead a group of 20 major winners who’ll take part in next month’s Senior PGA Championship.
Also scheduled to play The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort from May 24-27 is defending champion and South Carolina resident Jay Haas.
Player has won the career grand slam among his nine major titles, taking the Masters, US Open, British Open and PGA Championship. Watson has won eight majors, five of those at the British Open.
Major champions Mark O’Meara and Nick Price plan to make their Senior PGA Championship debut at this year’s event.
The Senior PGA is the oldest major championship in senior golf, first played in 1937 at the Augusta National Golf Club.
