Play has been suspended at the Spanish Open.
Torrential rain has left huge puddles on the course and it is doubtful play will resume at all today although a decision will be made at around 4pm.
Only a handful of players have actually been out on the course near Madrid and Sandy Lyle was one of those. He got off to a good start. He is one under after four holes and is currently ties for the lead.
