Apr6 Masters cut
Last updated:
Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia and Darren Clarke are among the shock early exits from the 2007 Masters.
With the cut mark coming at eight over par, plenty of big names won’t be here for the weekend.
Brett Wetterich and Tim Clark are the clubhouse leaders at two under. The Masters works the cut mark out by taking the leading score and adding 10.
That means, among others, these players are on their way home after finishing at +9: Michael Campbell, Colin Montgomerie, Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia, Darren Clarke, Chris DiMarco, Tom Watson and Thomas Bjorn.
And these players on +8 have only scraped in by the skin of their teeth: Adam Scott, Fred Couples, Lee Westwood, Retief Goosen and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
With such a high cut mark, several former champs will be here for the weekend, including Sandy Lyle and Fuzzy Zoeller.
But these past Masters will not be around: Mark O’Meara, Tom Watson, Bernhard Langer, Raymond Floyd, Gary Player, Larry Mize and Seve Ballesteros.
