Argentinian hot-shot Andres Romero has sung the praises of his new TaylorMade Tour Burner Driver, following his victory in the Zurich Classic, his first on the PGA Tour.
After a 65 on Saturday, the 26-year-old fired a 68 in the final round in New Orleans to edge out Peter Lonard by one stroke, and Romero was delighted with his work off the tee which helped him set up the impressive stat of 83% greens-in-regulation.
“I played great these two rounds, especially with my tee-shots. I hit plenty of fairways and that was very important,” he said.
The Tour Burner driver will be hitting the shops towards the end of April, and the club just squeezed into TG’s driving test for issue 243. To see how it fared, be sure to buy the edition which is on sale from April 30.
