After a dodgy start – “my first round of golf was a disaster and I hated the game at first” – popular radio and TV presenter Jamie Theakston now loves golf to bits. He plays as often as his hectic broadcasting schedule allows and in fact is a member at three clubs – the prestigious Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire, Hertford’s classy Brocket Hall and his local course, Mid-Sussex GC.
TG recently took Jamie on for the coveted TG Tenner (see the October issue to see who came out on top) on his home territory at Stoke Park and afterwards he gave us a quick as well as highly entertaining tour of his Taylor Made-dominated golf bag.
