These are changing times – both on and off the course – at leading Surrey golf venue Selsdon Park Hotel & Golf Club.

Selsdon is the home of a 1929 J.H. Taylor-designed layout which is being restored to its former glory following an intense seven-month restoration project. The course should be in tip-top condition when it stages the first Ladbrokescasino.com Masters between September 24-28.

Off-course the hotel has undergone a £6m refurbishment which has included all the public areas and conference facilities while all function rooms are now equipped to the highest standard. In addition, the bedrooms have also been upgraded to offer the ultimate in luxury hotel accommodation, combining tasteful décor with modern facilities.

But Selsdon won’t be resting on their laurels and even more changes are in the pipeline – once the course work has been completed, a new £15m golf and leisure complex will be built. This is due to begin next January and should establish Selsdon as a major ‘player’ as far as golf, leisure and conference guests are concerned.

The Principal Hotels’ Pro-Am  will open the tournament week on Monday Sept 24th with 45 teams taking part. The following day 156 pros will be chasing the £10,000 top prize, the victor being decided after the final round on Thursday.

Selsdon Park is set within 205 acres of spectacular Surrey parkland, the luxury 204-bedroom hotel and championship golf course, being located just 12 miles outside London.
