Callaway’s new golf balls – the Tour i and the Tour ix – only rolled off the production lines a few weeks ago, but they’re already making a huge impact on Tour.
TG caught up with Top European Tour pro Thongchai Jaidee testing the Tour ix for the first time at Valderrama golf club in Spain.
“This ball is amazing around the greens,” said Jaidee. “The spin and stop I’m getting on my chip shots is incredible. The ball flight is a little lower, but very easy to control. I’ll easily be able to put this ball straight into play, and can’t wait to see how I get on with it next season.”
Jaidee is among a host of Callaway Golf Tour staff including Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson, who have been singing the praises of Callaway’s new Tour balls that will be available in our shops early spring, priced at £40 a dozen.
