With the ever-changing layouts of golf courses up and down the land plus the advent of GPS technology, some golf clubs may view course guides as a thing of the past. But not course-guide specialist 3DEagleView who have just added four-time Ryder Cup venue The Belfry to their expanding portfolio of prestigious courses.
3DEagleView now produces the guide to the world-famous West Midland’s resort’s Brabazon layout, their other leading clients including St Andrews, Royal Portush and the PGA National of Ireland.
And The Belfry are delighted with the outcome with head pro Gary Alliss saying: “The course guide is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The low-level photography showcases the course at its very best and the attention to detail is exquisite.”
For the sake of two or three quid, a course guide is a very handy thing to take out onto the course with you, speciallly if you’re a first-time visitor. Not only will it help you achieve a better score by revealing all the various pitfalls as well as important yardages, it’s also a nice little memento of the day you tackled one of the world’s best known courses. It also happens to come in extremely useful for any forthcoming visits…provided there haven’t been any wholesale changes of course…
