Fantasy League winners

The todaysgolfer.co.uk Summer Fantasy Golf League culminated in a nail-biting finale this weekend in the USPGA – and that meant only one thing – we can now reveal the winners of the competition.
Over the past four months 20,000 of you have fought it out to claim one of our top golf prizes and below you’ll be able to see if you’re one of those lucky enough to have claimed a share of the £20,000 prize pot.
Overall first place goes to Sam Baldwin and Baldys Wonders who managed to claim our amazing first place prize (see below) from Simon Linklater’s bettingkingdom.co.uk team by just 18 points! He will now be jetting off to Scottsdale for a golf holiday of a lifetime!
Our Private league event was won by the FISO Forum with 9912 points, closely followed by The League of Gentlemen and the top ten points scorers in those leagues will soon be taking delivery of a Callaway X Wedge – each!

First Prize: Sam Baldwin, Baldy’s Wonders
The entrant that finishes top of the overall leaderboard will win a dream trip for two to the Camel Inn Marriott golf resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. The prize includes seven nights at a top-notch Marriott Hotel in Arizona, flights and golf.
Second Prize: Simon Linklater – bettingkingdom.co.uk
The second placed manager at the end of the competition will win a luxury European Marriott break for four at a European Marriott Hotel of your choice. There will be two nights’ accommodation in two twin rooms, two rounds of golf and b&b accommodation. And flights are included too! Marriott has some awesome hotels in some awesome cities, including Madrid, Athens, Rome, Prague and Paris. You can choose your destination.
Third Prize: john brogan – Brogies Birdies
The third-placed manager at the end of the competition will get to choose from any of Marriott’s great UK venues (except for Hanbury Manor) to host a VIP golf day for 12.

Set up a Private League and the top ten managers could each win a Callaway Golf X Tour Wedge!
The top five points scorers in your league will generate your Private League cumulative score. But the top ten
managers of the top two performing leagues leagues will each bag an ace wedge – so it’s all to play for!

The highest scoring entrant during each month of the Today’s Golfer Winter Golf competition (April – July, NOT August) will win a weekend break for two at one of the Marriott’s UK venues (except for Hanbury Manor).
Please note that prizes will be awarded for the calendar months of April, May, June and July, with points scored in tournaments starting in one month and ending in another counting towards the month in which the event started.

The manager of the team with the best score for the four majors – The Masters, The Open, The US Open and the USPGA – will each receive a Callaway Golf Hyper X Driver.
