Spring 2007 is Ashworth’s 20th anniversary, so to mark this occasion Ashworth has launched four new fabric innovations that are exclusive to Ashworth and shows how the company continues to influence golf apparel trends over the past 20 years.
The most significant product enhancement comes with the EZ-Tech fabric range. This fabric has proved very popular amongst consumers thanks to its durability and easy care. Colours remain bright, shirts don’t shrink and the fabric resists piling, hence maintaining it’s soft touch.
Also look out for a new doeskin Nano-Tex, which was the original foundation of Ashworth’s performance apparel offering; a new AWS Ottoman Knit that is ultra-lightweight and is specially designed to deliver effective body moisture management; and finally a new Classic Golf Knit featuring a fine gauge pique that is exceptionally soft to the touch.
AWS, which was a very successful line last year, has been extended for Spring/Summer 2007 with new products and fabrics across both the men’s and ladies AWS ranges. AWS for men will come in two options; black and white and a brighter olive/navy/citron collection. The women’s range also offers choices Driven in black, white and taffy pink, or She Plays Golf, which combines Calypso green, sun and white to create bright outfits.
The 2007 Ashworth collection offers a wide range of colours palettes across the main ranges to suit all tastes. Men can look forward to choosing from 6 different colours including Front Nine with blues, reds and green; Mantra with cream, beige and yellow; or Taos which combines navy, pale blue, orange and beige. The women’s ranges will be Chic a lilac, black and white range, and Freedom with its icicle and cool blues combined with white.
