Golf balls caused chaos on the M25 yesterday.
A lorry carrying 25,000 golf balls jack-knifed and spewed its load across the carriageway. Losing one is carelss… losing 25,000 is really crazy!
It happened on the clockwise carriageway at junction seven, in Surrey, and caused queues all the way back to junction three in Kent, with the balls spread all over the stretch of road.
A spokesman for the Highways Agency confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the accident and that a forklift truck was deployed to remove the load.
Several people were seen hurrying away from the scene with bulging pockets!
