Great academy action this weekend

Oulton Hall is having the grand opening of its brand new Golf Academy this weekend (7th and 8th June) and is encouraging golfers and non-golfers alike to try out the stunning new facilities on offer.

On Saturday and Sunday between 9.00am and 5.00pm, the luxurious 5-star resort will be offering complimentary golf tuition for adults and free 1 hour taster sessions for children, with top tips from the European tour with Phil Archers coach Mark Pearson and Oulton Hall’s team of PGA qualified golf tuition experts. Furthermore, golfers can also take advantage of free custom fitting sessions and complimentary range balls. 

The UK’s most innovative trick shot artist Jeremy Dale will be performing one of his must see shows on Saturday afternoon at 1.00pm, while Great Britain and Leeds Rhinos rugby league players Danny McGuire and Gareth Ellis will be lending their support to the event on both days.

The Golf Academy at Oulton Hall opened earlier this year and has been designed to provide the North’s best golf teaching centres for elite golfers and high handicappers alike. It boasts revolutionary and innovative facilities including a fully floodlit 16 bay driving range containing fully automated power tee systems, short game facilities and two double teaching bays, in addition to state of the art “Technology Room” with pioneering swing analysis software and biomechanics equipment.
