Aug 1 Gulbis all smiles in St. Andrews sunshine

SkyCaddie-sponsored Natalie Gulbis was all smiles yesterday when she told Today’s Golfer that she still hadn’t stopped celebrating her first victory at the Evian Masters last weekend.
The 24-year-old American said she’d barely had five hours sleep in the last couple of days, but despite enjoying being in the winner’s circle for the first time in five years on Tour, couldn’t wait to get back to work and try to keep up the good form when she tees off in the Richo Women’s British Open at St. Andrews today.
“I went out for a meal with my family to this really beautiful restaurant overlooking Lake Geneva and I’m planning a big party back home in Las Vegas with all my friends when I return to the States,” Gulbis beamed. “It’s been a whirlwind few days.”
TG got a sneak peek into the hectic lifestyle of the LPGA tour’s most glamorous player yesterday afternoon, accompanying Gulbis for the final holes of her practice round as she mapped out the course with her SkyCaddie GPS in preparation for the Open Championship.
Like a true star she stopped to sign autographs and have her picture taken with every fan that asked.
