Titleist’s new range of irons claimed yet another maiden tour appearance victory at the weekend in tha hands of the awesome Adam Scott.
The Australian Tour star included an 11-under 61 in his 20 under winning score at the Qatar Masters while using the soon-to-be-launched Titleist AP2 forged irons for the first time!
His incredible performace with the new irons saw off the threat of fellow European Tour stars Henrick Stenson, Johan Edfors and Lee Westwood, amongst others.
Unbelievably during his round of 61 he actually stepped off the gas on the final two holes with many belieiving a 59 was definitely on the cards had he continued at full pelt.
One spectator told TG.co.uk: ‘It was amazing golf, it was like his golf ball was on a piece of string for most of the event. Those irons must be something special to bring that out in him the first time he uses them.’
