A star-studded line-up is being assembled for the Numark British Par 3 Championship which takes place at Nailcote Hall, nr Coventry, Warwicks between August 7-10.
The main pro-Am event will be held on August 7 & 8 and among those chasing the title will be current Euro Tour stars such as Phillip Archer, David Lynn, Scott Drummond, Steve Webster and Robert Rock who will line-up alongside past favourites including Bernhard Hunt, Peter Mitchell, Mark Mouland and Roger Chapman.
For the first time, the pro’s will be joined by celebrity and business amateur partners with football legends Peter Shilton and Peter Schmeichel and ex-snooker star Willie Thorne set to take part.
In addition, a Celeb-Am will be played on the final two days (Aug 9 & 10) and among the confirmed starters are Coronation Street’s William Roache (Ken Barlow), former Man. Utd and TV dancing star Lee Sharpe plus Olympic heroes Steve Backley, Steve Parry and Kriss Akabusi.
It should provide four days of good, clean golfing fun and entertainment. TG entered a team in last year’s event and had a ball, specially instruction editor Carly Cummins who celebrated a hole-in-one!
