Jun22 bogs

Property prices in golfing mecca St Andrews have reached a crazy new high – with the public toilet block going under the hammer for nearly £200,000.
The Fife town already has the most expensive street in Scotland – overlooking the Old Course – and now the council has added to its coffers by selling off the now closed public bogs.
An unexpected bidding war erupted when the block was listed for sale at a Glasgow auction. It still houses the toilets and urinal, but this failed to put off the 15 potential buyers.
The three-room block is a listed building located on a prime site near the town’s historic West Port and could soon be converted into a shop, cafe or home.
