Jun22 Epping Forest

By Courses editor Kevin Brown

Royal Epping Forest in Chingford is steeped in history and tradition and amazingly you can play this unique tree-lined – well, it is in the middle of a forest after all – for a measly tenner for a twilight round.

But remember to wear a red shirt. It’s club rules because the course is plotted on common public land and the red tops help to separate the golfers from the walkers.
