June26 smoke

The usual stuff is going on in the world of sport. We’ve had the fallout from the US Open, Wimbledon is in full swing and disgruntled football fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the new season.
But this year there is something else for us to consider; July 1 sees England go smoke-free and we want to know how you think this is going to affect you and your golf club.
What we can ascertain is that it will be fine to smoke out on the course itself, as it’s not an enclosed public space, but lighting up in the clubhouse will be strictly forbidden.
If you are caught puffing away on your Silk Cut, a fixed penalty notice could be issued for £50.
