Bushey Hall Golf Club in Hertfordshire is about to embark on a major, long-term investment to upgrade the course. 

March 2007 will see the start of the work on the course which is the oldest parkland course in Hertfordshire.  The work is expected to be phased over two years and it will include: the planting of additional trees, rebuilding bunkers and further improvements to the design and layout of the course.  he timing of the improvements coincides with The Club’s centenary celebrations – clubhouse will be 100 years old in July 2007.  

Heading up the team carrying out the work at Bushey Hall is the internationally renowned golf course designer and technical advisor, Bob Hunt.  Mr Hunt is the Managing Director of PGA Design Consulting Limited (PGADC) which acts on behalf of The Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) of Great Britain and Ireland in matters of design and consultancy worldwide. 

Mr Hunt is responsible for the team of golf designers and architects who have worked on over 300 golf projects worldwide and who have designed courses as far apart as the Caribbean and Norway.  He is currently working on Projects in:  China, Trinidad & Tobago, Greece, India, Korea, and Norway.
