The new Titleist irons are gathering momentum on Tour according to our PGA and European Tour insider.
At last weekend’s WGC CA Championship at Doral Titleist staff player Anders Hansen lost his new Titleist irons during travel put a new set of Titleist AP2 irons in play for the first time EVER and finished T12!
Having already won using the new Titleist AP irons Adam Scott and the newly converted Steve Stricker posted top ten finishes using the new Titleist AP2 irons. Stricker also shot the low final round for the second consecutive event firing a 63.
And the action didn’t end there: At the Puerto Rico Open Nationwide tour player Greg Kraft used the new Titleist ZB irons to win the event. Eleven players in the field tee’d it up with Titleist AP2 irons making them the most played iron model at the event.
