Top Radio One DJ Vernon Kay has revealed that Today’s Golfer is his favourite magazine.
In an interview with a National Newspaper the cheeky radio and TV presenter said: “I read Today’s Golfer, which speaks in layman’s terms – it doesn’t try to be up its own backside.”
TG played Kay for the famed TG Tenner last year and had a cracking match. The 33-year-old had only been playing for six weeks then and our contest was only his second full round. He beat TG on the 18th.
Since then he has slashed his handicap and can often be heard spouting the benefits of the game on his Radio One show.
