Glendale Golf to host charity day with Tim Stimpson and Joe Goodman
Tim Stimpson and Joe Goodman will play host to Glendale Golf?s charity day at Richmond Park Golf Course on 14th September, which will see twenty teams battle it out for the winning title, with all proceeds going to UK children?s charity SPARKS.?
A celebrity team will take part in the charity day consisting of former England Rugby star and Leicester Tigers hero, Tim Stimpson, and one of the country?s best comedians, Joe Goodman.
Last year?s event raised ?9,000 for charity and this year Glendale Golf is aiming to exceed this with the help of Tim Stimpson and Joe Goodman who will also host a charity auction and raffle at the event.
Glendale Golf is proud to be working with SPARKS who fund pioneering medical research that has a practical, positive impact on the lives of babies and children.? Their aim is to enable all babies to be born healthy and stay healthy.? Statistically, 1 in 30 children will be born with a condition which may affect them for life. ?SPARKS? goal is to reduce this statistic by funding vital medical research into different areas affecting babies and children throughout the UK.
The Glendale Golf Charity Day will involve a day-long, 4-ball team golf tournament at Richmond Park Golf Course followed by dinner and prize-giving. To enter a team call Stuart Darbyshire on 01279 715040.
