Ian Poulter and Michael Campbell have both confirmed that they will play at The Belfry in next week’s Quinn Direct British Masters.

“The Quinn Direct British Masters is a great tournament and I love playing at The Belfry,” says fashion icon ‘Poults’. “There are some big names set to play this year and after a really enjoyable year so far, I am relishing the chance to compete for the title.”

Kiwi Campbell shot his way to superstardom after capturing the 2005 US Open, making him the first New Zealander to win a major since 1963 (Bob Charles who claimed the British Open at Royal Lytham).

His victory sparked a national celebration and welcome home parade in his homeland and his year was capped when honoured as European Tour Player of the Year and awarded Honorary Life Membership.

Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler, Managing Director of promoters International Sports Management said: “It’s fantastic to be able to announce the attendance of some more great golfers at this stage.”

The Quinn Direct British Masters will be played from 20th – 23rd September 2007, including a Pro-Am day on 19th September. Tickets can be booked in advance by calling 0871 230 9809, www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.quinndirectbritishmasters.com though you can also gain admission on the gate.
