Ernie Els is not a happy bunny. At his pre-BMW Championship press conference today the Big Easy lashed out over the hectic end-of-season schedule based around the new FedEx play-offs series which ends at next week’s Tour Championship in Atlanta.

Els believes that “world players” such as Tiger Woods and himself are being run into the ground and have very little room in which to manoeuvre and recuperate. “It’s tough for everybody, a real strain and is mentally and physically draining for those who play on the world stage,” stressed Els.
