The Quinn Direct British Masters has been boosted by the confirmation that Ryder Cup heroes Colin Montgomerie and Paul Casey will play in the event later this month at the Belfry.
Monty, who is the most prolific British winner in European Tour history with an incredible 31 Tour victories to his name, said: “The Belfry holds great memories for me and I am looking forward to returning there.
“I have enjoyed my golf this year and am looking forward to getting involved with another big tournament.”
Casey won the illustrious European Tour Player of the Year for 2006 after a stellar season last term which included a hole-in-one during the victorious Ryder Cup contest at the K Club in Ireland.
The pair will join, amongst others, fellow Ryder Cup legend Darren Clarke at the event which starts on September 20th.
