Sandy Lyle and Jodie Kidd will headline the glamourous Chivas Snow Golf championship next year.

They will be joined by dozens of pros and celebs to compete in the January 11-13 Alpine event.

The tournament takes place on a nine-hole snow course, carved around a frozen lake at the foot of Piz Bernina mountain, St Moritz.

Jodie Kidd said: “The course looks spectacular – a breath-taking venue to tee off from. I’m always game for a new golfing challenge, I just hope I don’t freeze on the tee!”

It’s played over holes approximately 33% shorter than normal grass holes. The fairways are made of compacted snow, the ‘whites’ are made from frozen snow and the balls used are fluorescent amber.
