Titleist Golf Ball at the Masters

Pick up any golfing publication, and somewhere there will be a Titleist advert telling you that their balls are the most popular on Tour.

And at the recent US Masters, this mantra rang true once again; 55 players used either the Titleist Pro V1 or the Pro V1x, which was nearly five times more than the nearest ball competitor.

But, interestingly, Padraig Harrington (in T5) was the highest-place Titleist ball player. The top three, in Trevor Immelman, Tiger Woods and Stewart Cink all play Nike.

However, Titleist’s popular reputation amongst the world’s top players is still untarnished with the news that more pros were using their irons than any other brand.
