Titleist and master craftsman Bob Vokey have unveiled a new website for wedge enthusiasts.

Founded on the clubmaking experience of Bob Vokey and his longstanding principles of true craftsmanship, Vokey Design Wedges have earned the reputation at every level of competitive golf as the game’s finest short game tools.

Vokey works directly with Tour players, club professionals and better playing amateurs to create wedges that provide truly discernible performance options for different course conditions, playing styles and challenging competitive environments.

First introduced in 1998, Vokey Design wedges have found overwhelming success as the leader in the marketplace and the unmatched favourite of players across the worldwide professional tours. Vokey Design wedges have been the #1 wedge on the US PGA Tour in terms of count and wins for five consecutive years.

To provide wedge enthusiasts a central on-line location to secure information, updates and news on Bob Vokey, Vokey Design wedge products, wedge technology and inside-the-ropes tour information, Titleist officially announces the launch of Vokey.com.  The new destination is the latest among Titleist’s portfolio of avid golfer web sites that also includes titleist.com, scottycameron.com and fittingworks.com.

Vokey.com consists of five specific content areas:

1) Wedges – Provides information about the entire Vokey Design family of wedges.

2) On Tour – View video and photo galleries and secure information specific to Vokey Design wedges that are in the bags of players across the worldwide professional tours.  Video includes Titleist players discussing their wedges and their wedge games with Bob, as well as short game “Tips from the Tour.”

3) Tech Central – Learn how Bob researches, designs and develops wedges for the Tour and the marketplace.  This section also includes a comprehensive glossary of terms used in wedge design and selection, and an FAQ area.

4) News – When Vokey news happens, Vokey.com will have it.  The news section is linked to the Titleist Tour blog.

5) About Vokey – Did you know Bob grew up in Canada?  Or that he played professional American football? Learn all about Bob and the interesting background of golf’s finest master wedge craftsman.

Vokey.com also features the Vokey Store; an on-line merchandise store featuring limited quantities of Vokey Design headwear, clothing and accessories. Vokey merchandise is available for consumer on-line purchase with a credit card and can be shipped internationally to more than 50 countries. A further online store called Wedge Works is only currently available to the domestic US market offering limited release wedges inspired by Bob’s work on tour.
