Wilson Staff’s Tour Truck takes prime location at The UK Golf Show in April. The Manufacturer behind 2007 Open Champion Padraig Harrington are unleashing their Fybrid Fitting tour on the general public between 10th & 13th April 2008 and are looking forward to utilising the full length driving bays to demonstrate their products effectiveness.
Rick Hazelden, Wilson’s UK Brand Manager commented “Wilson Staff are delighted to partner the UK Golf Show and are using the platform to kick off their 2008 FYbrid Fitting Tour. Hundreds of golfers suffer confusion over which clubs should make up their long game, so Wilson Staff’s new FYbrid (fairway utilities) system has been developed to simplify the whole buying process. Throughout the show a full Wilson Staff demo team will be on hand to fit golfers for their perfect family of FYbrids.”
With a limited number of locations being selected throughout the UK for the fitting opportunity, Show director Kevin Blair was delighted that Europe’s only outdoor public event was chosen. Our indoor range in 2006 served its purpose but never really identified true ball flight. Now that we can offer a real environment, 40 bays offering up to 350 yards carry; visitors can have that added sense of confidence in the equipment and will see the results of their efforts in real time and over real distance”.
The UK Golf Show, held from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th April 2008 at Whittlebury Park Golf & Country Club in Northamptonshire, is Europe’s first public outdoor golf exhibition and will give visitors a total golf day experience and allow them to play on real greens, real fairways and even in real bunkers! This new-look outdoor event will make use of Whittlebury Park’s top-class facilities, with it’s 36-Hole championship course divided between manufacturers, features and competitions. Golfers can test the latest equipment on four ten-bay full length driving ranges, shop in a purpose built exhibitor village, watch seminars and take part in various teaching academies running throughout the Four days.
