Unlike most pieces of golf equipment, you have to factor in certain elements such as storage, weight, ease of transport, and ease of use. Before owning a remote-controlled golf cart I was skeptical as to how much energy they saved, but having operated one for the past few months, I can whole-heartedly admit it has made playing the game so much easier and stress-free.
I understand not every golfer will have an unlimited budget when it comes to purchasing a golf cart – which ultimately is a luxury – but you will be better off with any golf cart over carrying.
Budget
It’s important to think about how much you intend to spend on a golf cart because they aren’t cheap, but it’s better to view the purchase as an investment because it’s incredibly likely that you’ll have the chosen golf cart for a number of years (depending on which you opt for and how long it lasts before it jacks in).
No matter how much you’re looking to spend on a golf cart there’s bound to be several suitable options within your budget. Based on how much you’re willing to spend on a golf cart it will limit or open up your possibilities. For instance, if you’re wanting to spend a maximum of $500 on a golf cart you’ll likely be in the market for one of the best golf push carts. It probably isn’t hard to guess that the heavier golf carts are electric, and the heavier electric golf carts are those packed with the most features and functionality. However, despite them being heavier than golf push carts, they’re still easier to maneuver around the golf course because you’re not actually having to push that weight.
Weight becomes an issue if the golf cart is too heavy for you to physically transport the golf cart from your home to the course. Golf carts can come in all shapes and sizes when they’re folded, so it’s important to find one that’s easy to carry. Alternatively, you can help distribute the weight by purchasing a golf cart travel bag, making it easier to lift the weight.
Ease of use
This might not be something you’d naturally consider when looking at golf carts, but it could be an important factor that helps you find the best cart for your game or it could save you money. When I used to play with a stand golf bag, the best part of the round was when I finished and I knew I wasn’t going to have to lug that bag around with me any longer. Accessories
