Titleist's wedge guru, Bob Vokey, rarely puts a foot wrong, and the Vokey SM9 wedges are no exception. In fact, we'd go as far as to say the Titleist Vokey Design SM9 wedges are the most versatile, accurate, and forgiving wedges the legendary designer has ever created.

There's an extensive range of grinds available, meaning you can find the perfect fit for your swing type (steep, neutral, shallow) and the course conditions you normally play (firm, neutral, soft). That does mean that a fitting is required to make sure you're getting the best-fitting wedge for your individual needs.

A laser rangefinder, GPS, and shot-tracking device in one

As the name would suggest, this is a lot more than just a rangefinder. The first golf rangefinder of its kind, the Shot Scope Pro LX+ is three products in one: a laser rangefinder, a GPS, and a shot-tracking device.

With 7x magnification, a range of 900 yards, adaptive slope technology, and rapid-fire detection, the rangefinder stands its own against any other, but it's the extra features that make the Shot Scope stand out.

You get 16 plug-n-play tags which allow you to track every shot you play and then analyze each round you play across hundreds of performance statistics, including strokes gained. Shot Scope's data shows that golfers improve by 4.1 shots on average, which is impressive.

If you have the patience required to get fully set up by screwing in all the tags to the top of your clubs, then the three-in-one functionality of this rangefinder will more than satisfy your data cravings.
Range 900 yards (accuracy +/- 1 yard)
Magnification 7x
Protection Water-resistant
Battery life 15+ hours

TaylorMade are one of the several brands to make a golf ball that feels as good as a tour standard golf ball but plays better for the majority of amateur golfers who swing the club slower and do not quite generate enough power to play with higher compression golf balls.

That being said, the Tour Response is an exceptional golf ball for even the best amateur golfers. I personally play with the Tour Response Stripe with the 360° clearpath alignment as a visual aid and also an alignment aid to help with putting.

The Tour Response features technology found in TaylorMade’s TP5/TP5x range – their premium range of golf balls. Making these balls an incredible option for club golfers who want a premium product without paying the premium price.

The only downside I have noticed with the Tour Response is off the tee it is not as long off the tee as other more expensive alternatives because of the 70 compression. However, as someone who doesn't necessarily struggle with distance, I prefer the feel and visual assistance the Stripe version offers.

Read our full TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls review.

Pros

  • Amazing visual and alignment aid (Stripe golf balls)
  • Incredibly soft feel
  • Impressive spin and control around the greens
  • Great feedback from every club in the bag
  • Outstanding distance despite lower compression

Cons

  • Potentially not ideal for players with quicker swing speeds who generate spin easily

Short game spin High

Nike have a huge band of tour stars wearing their shoes, so it's no surprise they turn to them for feedback when designing new models. Brooks Koepka played a big role in the creation of the Air Zoom Infinity Tour Next%

We weren't alone in feeling the previous iteration was too narrow for our feet. Nike have listened and increased the overall volume to give your foot more room, which means this will have more mass market appeal.

A new plush padded collar at the ankle helps increase support and cushioning while reducing heel slip. The shoe now sports two Zoom air units and customer feedback has seen new spikes integrated into the heel and toe for much-improved traction.

There have also been improvements to the upper which is both breathable and durable. We also found it very easy to clean, which is a key factor in our reviews.

See how the Air Zoom Infinity Tour Next% compares to the best Nike golf shoes.

Pros

  • Air bubble
  • Soft underfoot
  • Great grip

Cons

  • Not the easiest to keep clean

A sleek good quality golf bag that will last is all most golfers want, and the Flextech fits that category rather well. As well as it is a great carry bag, thanks to the Flextech technology it doubles up as a great cart bag too, and reduces club overcrowding in the bag.

The Flextech carry bag has a roomy 7.5" 5-way divider with 2 full-length dividers for easy club retrieval. A weather-resistant 600D poly shell protects the 10 pockets which includes a waterproof valuables pocket.

Cons

  • Straps take some adjusting

You won’t find a better launch monitor for this price. This pocket-sized unit is battery-operated, super easy to operate, and gives you all the data you need – swing speed, ball speed, carry distance, total distance and smash factor. The readout is a little basic, but the accuracy is comparable with some top-end devices.

A great golf ball for a range of handicaps

SAVE £5
Price: $28.31
A choice of one, two, or three dozen balls from one of the game’s leading manufacturers at a great price. Working out at around £1 per ball, playing these will ensure you’re not hit too hard in the pocket if you’re not enjoying the best day on the links.

Aside from being great value, the TaylorMade RBZ Soft balls give you great distance off the tee thanks to their two-layer ionomer cover and high-energy react core. You’ll also get an incredibly soft greenside feel.
