What we say...
A spiked golf shoe built for traction, stability, and all-day comfort. The Nike Victory Pro 4 proves why it’s the choice of world No.1 Scottie Scheffler.
When it comes to the best golf shoes, Nike Golf have always been at the forefront of blending innovation with performance. But the Victory Pro 4 feels like something special because it wasn’t just designed for golfers in general; it was created with Scottie Scheffler in mind.
Now, let’s be honest: Scottie’s footwork is either iconic or downright crazy, depending on how you look at it. His swing looks like he’s dancing his way into a fairway finder, but why fix what isn’t broken?
Designing a golf shoe to keep him stable, comfortable, and supported through that kind of movement is no small feat. Yet somehow, Nike have done it. The Victory Pro 4 was made to help him and, by extension, the rest of us unlock more speed and stay balanced all the way to the finish.
The tech story is pretty impressive. Nike’s all-new Fly Wing structure helps you push off through the downswing for extra power while keeping you on top of the platform through impact. Pair that with a Cushion foam midsole and Dynamic Fit system, and you’ve got a shoe designed to deliver the perfect mix of speed, stability, and support.
In short, this isn’t just a shoe built for golf; it’s a shoe built for swings that go all out, which is why it is one of the best spiked golf shoes.
I’ve now worn the Victory Pro 4 in just about everything summer golf can throw at me: blazing heat at Cleveland, soggy conditions at Close House, light rain, firm turf, soft turf, you name it. My verdict? They’ve handled it all, and they might just be the most complete Nike golf shoe I’ve worn.

Pros
- Incredibly comfortable, true-to-size fit
- Excellent waterproofing
- Outstanding grip in all conditions
- Durable, long-lasting build
Cons
- The elevated sole might feel odd to some players at first
Comfort: 5/5
Straight out of the box, the Victory Pro 4 was instantly comfortable. The fit is true to size, with a snug but supportive feel that doesn’t loosen or lose shape over time. Nike’s internal foam collar locks the heel in nicely, while the cushioning midsole keeps your feet fresh over 18 holes.
Crucially, the breathability is spot on. Hot or cold, wet or dry, my feet always felt at the right temperature – something I can’t say for every golf shoe. Quite simply, these are the most comfortable Nike golf shoes I’ve worn.

Performance: 5/5
This is where the Victory Pro 4 shines. The nine-spike traction system delivers grip in all conditions, and I never once felt unstable, even in wet ground. The Fly Wing technology, designed to help push off through the downswing, adds to that locked-in, connected-to-the-ground feel.
Flexibility is excellent too, allowing a full range of motion while still providing plenty of stability. The weight is nicely balanced: substantial enough to feel supportive, but not heavy or bulky.
Durability: 5/5
After 15–20 rounds, there’s almost no sign of wear. The synthetic leather upper is soft yet tough, and it’s easy to clean after muddy rounds. They’ve proven to be completely waterproof in the rain, with no leaks or soggy feet to report.
The cleats are removable and replaceable, which makes them a practical long-term option. Internally, the shoe still feels as supportive as the day I first wore them.

Style & Design: 4/5
This is where opinion may split. Personally, I like the clean, trainer-inspired design, but I don’t think they’re the most stylish shoe on the market. They’re more practical than fashionable, built to perform rather than turn heads.
Available in several subtle colourways, they match up nicely with almost any outfit, and for me, this golf shoe sits firmly in the “traditional but modern” category. They may not scream bold sneaker style, but they look like a serious golf shoe, and I can’t argue with Scheffler’s taste.
Technology & Features: 5/5
Nike has packed the Victory Pro 4 with tech that balances comfort, stability, and grip. The standout is Fly Wing technology, built to keep your foot grounded and stable through the swing, supported by the Dynamic Fit system that locks you securely into place.
The Cushion foam midsole delivers comfort for long rounds without losing responsiveness, while the foam collar gives a trainer-like step-in feel. Underfoot, the nine-spike outsole provides superb traction in all conditions, and with removable cleats plus a waterproof synthetic leather upper, this is a spiked shoe built to last and built for tour-level demands.
Final Verdict: 4.8/5
The Nike Victory Pro 4 is one of the best spiked golf shoes I’ve tested in recent years, and I don’t say that lightly. From the first time I slipped them on, they felt right, and that feeling hasn’t changed 20 rounds later.
What stands out most for me is the confidence they give. They’re stable, supportive, and waterproof, but still breathable enough that my feet stay comfortable no matter the weather. That peace of mind is priceless when you’re walking 18 holes.
Yes, the styling might not be the boldest or most fashionable, but they’re built for business, not show, and when the World No.1 Scottie Scheffler is wearing them week in, week out, it’s hard to argue with the results.
Personally, these are now my go-to spiked golf shoes. If you’re the kind of golfer who values comfort, traction, and reliability above all else, the Victory Pro 4 should be high on your list. They may not shout the loudest, but they deliver where it matters most: on the golf course.
