Penta powers Bettencourt to US win

While Louis Oosthuizen was busy winning The Open at St Andrews, Matt Bettencourt was getting the job done on the other side of the pond at the Reno-Tahoe Open.

The victory means Betterncourt will play at next month’s US PGA Championship and will no doubt turn to his TaylorMade Penta TP ball and Burner SuperFast driver which served him so well this past week.

In fact, Bettencourt averaged a lengthy 337.5 yards off the tee, a testament to both his technique and the technology of SuperFast.

The 35-year-old could have been forced into a play-off, but Bob Heintz missed a short putt on the 18th to hand Bettencourt his maiden PGA Tour title.

In addition to the Penta TP ball and the SuperFast driver, Bettencourt also used a TaylorMade Tour Burner 3-wood, an R9 3-wood, a Rescue TP and an xFT wedge on his way to victory.
