New Nintendo Wii training aid with David Leadbetter

Let’s face it, there are times when even the most stringent golfers among us struggle for motivation to get in the car and head up to the range for some much-needed practice.
However, a new training aid called My Personal Golf Trainer can now let you assess and practice your swing from the comfort of your own living room. The trainer, which is designed for the Nintendo Wii, features advice and feedback from David Leadbetter, arguably the world’s most successful coach.
The device, which uses the ultra-sensitive Wii MotionPlus Controller to analyse the swing in 3D, is designed to complement outdoor practice.
Leadbetter says: “Good golf is built around feel. A few minutes at home with the Wii is a great way to maintain the perfect feel. My Personal Golf Trainer gives my constant feedback so you know at once if you are doing it right or wrong.
“With tailored feedback you can learn a repeating motion which you’ll be able to take on to the golf course.”
The software will give instant feedback on everything from swing path and tempo to face angle at impact and consistency.
My Personal Golf Trainer costs £99. For more information visit www.mypersonalgolftrainer.com
