Video review: Wilson Staff Ci9 irons
Published: Last updated:
Wilson Staff’s new Ci9 irons are designed for mid-low handicap players looking for the sleek profile of a player’s club with the forgiveness of a game-improver iron.
The company claim they have managed this through the use of a urethane medallion in the head to dampen vibrations and improve feel while an exoskeleton in the rear of the club moves weight to the toe and heel for added forgiveness.
Despite this technology, Wilson have sought to keep the profile of the head as compact as possible with a relatively thin topline and sole, which better players prefer.
