PING celebrate sensational year

PING are celebrating a stellar year after Lee Westwood’s successful assault on the World Number One spot capped a sensational 12 months for the family-owned firm.
In addition to Westwood’s considerable achievement, it should be remembered that Open Championship winner Louis Oosthuizen is a PING staff player as well.
There have also been victories by several other PING players, including Miguel Angel Jimenez who has added three Tour titles to his career CV, while things are just as rosy on the side of the Pond with Hunter Mahan winning twice and Bubba Watson claiming his maiden PGA Tour title at the Travelers Championship in June.
“To have the world’s number one golfer, a Major champion and significant contenders in all other Majors makes it a history-making year for our company,” said John Solheim, PING Chairman and CEO.
Clubs such as the recently-launched S56 irons have stood out on Tour, while the i15 and the G15 irons and woods continue to help a wide range of golfers.
