RAZR Hawk unveiled by Callaway

Callaway has unveiled their new RAZR Hawk driver and after two wins in as many weeks it’s a hot-start to life on Tour for the new wood.

Thomas Bjorn used the new driver when he won in Qatar, and then another Callaway staffer Alvaro Qurios held his nerve to win the Dubai Desert Classic at the weekend.

The new RAZR Hawk driver features a revolutionary new material called Forged Composite that is lighter, stronger and more precise than titanium.

This lighter clubhead creates faster head speed and ball speed, which translates to greater distance without compromising forgiveness.

Spaniard Quiros, who is 12 yards longer off the tee than he was in 2010 since switching to the new product, has been quick to voice his approval.

“I love the new shape of the head on the RAZR Hawk”, he said. “It’s certainly a lower spin driver and it’s giving me a lovely flat and penetrating ball flight. I was long with my FT-5 but I’ve picked up at least 10 yards and I’m also hitting it straighter than ever.”
