FootJoy ahead of the game in gloves market

FootJoy enjoyed another impressive 12 months in 2010, with the latest Golf Datatech UK figures revealing they topped the count for gloves with a brand share of 47.4%.

But it’s not just one glove that is doing the job for FootJoy – in fact, the three best-selling products in the UK come from their portfolio, with the WeatherSof remaining the top choice for golfers with an impressive 15.1% of the market, followed by the WeatherSof GTX and the SciFlex.

FootJoy’s overall market share is more than five times that of its nearest competitor and Mike Lucas, Director of Sales and Marketing for the brand was delighted with the recent figures.

“Our product development team work tirelessly to improve our market leading products and it’s always satisfying to see that so many of the models are meeting the needs of golfers across the country,” he said.

“From the premium Pure Touch and StaSof to WeatherSof and our newest model the SPIDR2, we have products to suit golfers of all ages, abilities, budgets and tastes,” he added.
