GolfBuddy launches new World model
Last updated:
GolfBuddy have launched their new World GPS system, which will sit aside the current World Platinum model.
The World is slightly smaller than the Platinum model, but retains lots of the same features including a 40,000 course memory, TFT touch screen, TouchPoint instant distance measurement as well as a Touch ‘n’ Move flag option.
Where the models differ is that the new World model doesn’t keep historical playing statistics on the device; instead, these are stored online for players to examine after their round.
Announcing the launch, GolfBuddy European general manager John Ennis, said: “We noticed that there are different types of GPS user.
“There are those golfers who want a GPS device loaded with the maximum technology we can provide. Others want their GolfBuddy to simply give them their best information as they play and prefer to compare historical playing statistics online,” he added.
The new World model features a single green view that gives exact distances to the front, middle and back of the green.
INFORMATION: The new GolfBuddy World is priced at £279 (with no additional subscription costs) and for more details please visit www.golfbuddyglobal.com
