Good things come to those who wait: TravisMathew reveal stunning limited-edition Guinness golf shoe
Last updated:
TravisMathew and Guinness – two icons of craftsmanship – come together to bring the spirit of the 19th hole to every step of your round.
If your idea of a perfect round ends with a creamy pint of Guinness, then this drop is your dream pairing. TravisMathew and Guinness have teamed up for a golf shoe that blends performance, story, and style in the most drinkable way possible.
Available from Tuesday (July 15), the Daily Pro Hybrid Plus is a premium golf shoe designed to celebrate heritage and craftsmanship, with just 1,759 pairs available worldwide.
That number isn’t random; it’s a deliberate nod to the year Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000-year lease at Dublin’s St. James’s Gate, birthing one of the most iconic brands on Earth.
And if you know what it means to “split the G,” dropping that first sip right through the middle of the Guinness logo on the famous glass, you’ll know exactly how precise and meaningful this collab is.
Created for golfers who appreciate the details and the stories behind them, this exclusive drop blends TravisMathew’s signature style with Guinness’ iconic legacy. Each pair is part of a collector’s kit that includes a matching Odyssey putter cover and comes housed in a custom-designed shoe box.

Performance meets pub-worthy design
This isn’t just a shoe, it’s a collector’s item with a purpose. From the outsole to the insole, every detail is soaked in Guinness storytelling:
- Deep brown waterproof upper inspired by the Guinness pint
- All-terrain outsole styled to mimic the famous pour foam on top, stout below
- Custom insole artwork inspired by vintage Guinness beer mats
- Matching Odyssey putter cover for extra collector clout
- Branded heel tabs and co-branded tongue logos
It’s the kind of shoe that looks just as good walking 18 as it does propped up under the table at your favorite post-round pub.

The perfect collab
“Partnering with Guinness felt like a natural fit, as both brands share a commitment to premium quality and storytelling,” Leif Sunderland, Chief Marketing Officer at TravisMathew tells us.
“This collaboration brings together Guinness’ heritage with TravisMathew’s modern style in a way that feels fresh and true to both,” Guinness Senior Licensing Manager, Declan Hassett, adds. “With The Open at Royal Portrush this week, we’re excited to share this moment alongside a great moment in golf.”
“We’re delighted to launch our partnership with TravisMathew with a premium golf shoe that celebrates our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and using the power of sport to create stories made for sharing.”
This shoe is Guinness through and through, refined, timeless, and made to bring people together.

A story shot in the wild
To honour the collab, TravisMathew and Guinness travelled to Askernish Golf Club on South Uist, a remote island in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. Designed by Old Tom Morris in 1891, it’s one of the purest links experiences in golf. The story of the shoe, the location, and the legacy all came together in an emotive short film produced on-site, which saw the shoe worn to play a 1,759-yard hole.
The Open and the perfect pint
This launch couldn’t be better timed. The 153rd Open Championship returns to Royal Portrush from July 17–20, just days after the shoe drops. Just down the road, The Harbour Bar, known for its world-class Guinness and famous visitors, might be the perfect place to test your “Split the G” skills after a day watching golf’s finest.
