The 10 best pieces of merchandise at the 153rd Open Championship

By , Golf Equipment Writer

From collector’s items to future classics, these are my standout merch picks from golf’s biggest week on the Northern Irish coast.

If you’re lucky enough to be at The Open at Royal Portrush this week, here’s a bit of advice: don’t walk to the merch tent… run. The top pieces aren’t hanging around for long. From the moment the gates opened on Monday, items were flying off the shelves. This year’s Open Championship gear is on another level.

From limited-edition accessories and headcovers to premium polos and framed prints, the shop has been packed with fans trying to get their hands on something special before it disappears. There’s serious FOMO in the air.

This is my third Open, and the excitement to get into the Open Shop and see what’s on display is still as strong as the first time. What used to be a quick souvenir grab has become a genuine part of the Championship experience.

And for those of you following from the sofa at home, good news, you don’t have to miss out. The best bits are available online too, with next-day delivery in the UK and international shipping ready to bring a bit of Portrush straight to your door.

I’ve spent the past 24 hours weaving in and out of the tent, keeping an eye on what’s flying off the shelves and narrowing down my favourite pieces. Some are smart, some are bold, and a few are destined to become Open icons.

Here are my ten favourite bits of merch from the 153rd Open.
